Program Dates
Our Spring semester runs from January
to May 2008. The program begins at 9:00 am and ends at 1:00 pm and can
accommodate up to 60 students.
Programs Offered
Cycles in Nature (Grade 2)
Program Site: Makiki Valley
Examine the importance of the five cycles
in nature and how they interact with one another, with emphasis on natural,
biological and physical cycles in the forest and stream environments.
Forest Encounters
(Grades 4, 5 and 6)
Program Site: Pu'u U'alaka'a State Park (
Due to the cntinued closure of Round
Top Drive by the Deparment of Land and Natural Resources, we are unable
to offer this program this semester.
Coastal Encounters
(Grades 4, 5, and 6)
Progam Site: Waimanalo Bay Recreation Area
Explore coastal ecology and geology,
and the positive and negative impacts caused by humans on the coastal
environment.
