In order to offer year round quality environmental education programs state wide, the Nature Center relies on several sources of funding including memership and program fees, generous donations and contributions from corporations and foundations as well active year round fundraising. Our fundraising efforts include:

Stewardship Campaign--An annual individual campaign which seeks substantial gifts from individuals.

Capital Campaign--A long-range strategic campaign which will culminate in adequate funding to construct a new headquarters facility in Makiki Valley.

Endowment Fund--Planned giving opportunities for the long-term financial security of the Nature Center.

Annual Fundraiser --Signature gala events on Oahu and Maui which bring together community leaders and other individuals who care deeply about the Nature Center's mission. These festivities are held in early summer on Oahu and in early fall on Maui and feature fine cuisine, auctions and gift shopping opportunities. The events take place at exclusive and dramatic venues and are eagerly anticipated and routinely sold-out.
